1934 not 1998

Global warming advocates are still pushing 1998 as the warmest year on record, even after it was proven that a Y2K glitch was found that made the 1998 record erroneous.

"World warming despite cool Pacific and Baghdad snow" reads the headline on Friday, and the first paragraph states inaccurately that "Climate change is still nudging up temperatures in the long term even though the warmest year was back in 1998 and 2008 has begun with unusual weather such as a cool Pacific and Baghdad's first snow in memory, experts said."

If they cant get the small facts right, why should we believe them with any of their other so-called facts?
