Just a Slip of the tongue?
In what had been the world's worst kept secret,
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert all but admitted that Israel had nuclear weapons. At the time I didnt think much of it (as mentioned in the article, it was estimated that Israel had about 200 warheads) until this story today.
If Israel refuses to comply, Iran said the council must take "resolute action" under Chapter 7 of the U.N. Charter which authorizes a range of measures from diplomatic and economic sanctions to military action.
By precident, if Israel refuses to comply the UN can, with Russia's backing, order preemptive strikes against the Holy Land...
