An Open Letter to QT...
Dear QT,
You are a convenience store, if it no
longer becomes convenient to shop in your store because of your
decision to sell lottery tickets, I will no longer come into your store
to purchase my soft drinks, my chips and my donuts.
I’m sure that there are many more like me who feel the same way.
Signed,
Mad Okie
a faithful customer of over 25 years

I have not had to experiance it yet but I have the same feeling about it. If it becomes more of an inconvenience I will find somewhere else for breakfast. I already have a gaining dis-like for QT since it seems gas prices are staying higher vs. the wholesale price since the cigarrete indian deal went into effect. QT's way of getting the profits back since they have the monopoly of setting Tulsa's gas prices since the 80's

I agree. I may have to find another location that sells gas cards.

I think the new will wear off soon enough and it will be just like going into any convenience store in Texas...no big deal.

I hope you are correct about that WavyD, it hasnt happened that way yet in KC, and I think a lot of that depends on what side of town you are on, a larger concentration of poor folk will result in more lottery tickets being sold in the area. This evening was almost the final straw at the QT on I-244 and Sheridan... there were more people in QT buying Lottery Tickets than there were people buying the higher margin stuff... and they were hogging the counter... scratch... win something... cash in on more tickets... wash, rinse, repeat
