By that very definition, the refusal to cut the deficit is raping future generations. Why wont the democrats think of the children?

...are doomed to repeat it. We didnt help the Iraqi People finish off Saddam in the first gulf war, now we have failed to help the Libyan people overthrow Gaddafi.

In both cases we would have actually bolstered our standing with the people of the region, helping them when they wanted our help, instead we sit on the sideline (or in the case of Iraq, not finish the job) which will come to bite us in the future.
