If she were a true conservative, she would not be a part of the democratic party. If our media did its job they would ask her just what parts of the democratic platform she agreed with.

 

With talk of SQ 744 being on tha ballot, im reminded of something my father said a long time ago "It seems like they lets the streets go to pot just in time for us to give them more money" or something to that extent.

Public schools are a self-perpetuating catch-22, as long as we keep rewarding bad behavior there will be no incentive for the schools to actually improve anything. We see this time and time again with bad teachers that the union fights for tooth-and-nail to the point it isn't worth firing them.

How much of 744 is going to end up in the hands of the unions and the administrators? Oklahoma has 77 counties and 544 school districts. cut that number in half by consolidating districts (NOT eliminating schools) and you free up millions of dollars in administrative costs.

 

House bill 755 will allow Oklahoman's to have a say in which laws our court systems will follow by disallowing the use of International & Sharia (Muslim) laws when dealing with issues before the courts.

To which I say YES! We should not mete out justice according to laws that the people or our representatives did not vote for.

If the reports are true, Lincoln just won a runoff against Lt. Gov. Bill Halter in which The Service Employees International Union and the AFL-CIO have spent millions in the race to defeat her.

UPDATE: Apparently the Unions spent 10 million dollars in this (and other?) failed races. They respond by saying that they are there to support working families... by wasting 10 million of their dues?

All I can say is that I hope the SEIU and AFL-CIO bankrupt themselves.

According to the NYTimes, at least 32 African-Americans are running for Congress this year as Republicans. To which I say, good luck guys, we need more people of minority races to show that you don't have to be shackled to the democrat party.
