Thanks to the Arizona illegal immigration law, a school in Illinois has canceled a trip to a basketball tournament in Arizona that the girl's basketball team had worked hard to gather the money required to attend. The school is now citing "safety reasons" for not allowing them to attend.

As we all know, this is a load of crap. if they were truly interested in the girls safety, they would not have allowed them to go BEFORE the law was enacted because of the, kidnappings, murder, drug running, human trafficking and other assorted crimes that have been committed the same illegal immigrates that Arizona's new law is aimed at.

George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell.
While there, they notice a red phone and ask what it is for. The
devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth.
 
Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he is
finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so
Putin writes him a check.
 
Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes.  When she

Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours.  When he is

When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush
got to call the USA so cheaply.

driving on the access road that loops behind the SW side of  71st and Lewis this afternoon I pass a street sweeper cleaning the dirt off the roads... nevermind that we were forecast to get a lot of rain later in the day, but just who is paying for this "service"?

If it is the city, don't we have bigger things to worry about?

Furthermore, the street sweeping truck had commercial tags, so if the city did pay for it they outsourced it.

Lets lay a few facts on the table.

1) Oklahoma's funding for public education is almost triple what it was in 1985.

2) however the population rise in our schools has not grown significantly in the same 25 year period (a large chunk of that has been Hispanic, and with our current laws we cant know if they are here legally or not)

And with all that money we spend on education, they aren't learning anything... 75% of Oklahoma students cant name our first president!

According to the NYTimes, at least 32 African-Americans are running for Congress this year as Republicans. To which I say, good luck guys, we need more people of minority races to show that you don't have to be shackled to the democrat party.

 So it seems Simon Cowell of American Idol, X-Factor and Brittan's got Talent has decided to speak out a bit about the elections going on in his home land and some of the quotes really struck a chord:

It's all about money. Illegal immigrants from Latin America are mostly Catholic, and they are devout, so if they go, so goes the tithes the Catholic church receives.
