The Mexican gov't is once again complaining about how we enforce our laws concerning their citizens who come here illegally. Specifically they  are complaining about Arizona's new laws.

Maybe what we ought to do is just adopt their laws

An Old Priest's Dying Wish

In Washington an old priest  lay dying in the hospital. For years he had Faithfully served the  people of the nation's capital. He motioned for his nurse  to come near.

"Yes, Father?" said the  nurse.

I would really like to see Harry  Reid and Nancy Pelosi before I die," whispered the  priest.
  
"I'll see what I can do, Father", replied the  nurse.  The nurse sent the request to The  House and Senate waited for a response.

Soon the word arrived; Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi  would be delighted to visit the  priest.
 
As they went to the hospital, Reid commented to  Pelosi, 

"I don't know why the old priest wants to see us, but  it will certainly Help our images and might even get  me re-elected."  Pelosi agreed that it was a good thing. 

When they arrived at the priest's room, the priest took Reid's hand in his right hand and Pelosi's hand in his left.
 
There was silence and a look of serenity on the old priest's  face.  

Finally Nancy Pelosi spoke. 

"Father, of all the people you could have chosen,  why did you choose us to be with you as you near the  end?"
 
The old priest slowly replied, "I have always tried to  pattern my life after Our Lord and Saviour Jesus  Christ."
 
"Amen", said Reid. 

"Amen", said Pelosi.

The old priest continued, "Jesus died between two lying  thieves; I would like to do the  same."

I was pondering what is the difference between a Conservative and  Liberal/Progressive, not a Republican or Democrat, because as we have seen some swing both ways.

Conservative: Protect the innocent, punish the guilty. No real explanation required on this one
Liberal: Punish the innocent, protect the guilty. Pro-abortion, anti-military, anti-gun, anti-death penalty. Any law that is not based on a direct action on a person punishes the innocent. A great example is the gun laws. Only the law-abiding citizen obeys them. In Arizona they have just passed Constitutional carry, or carrying a concealed weapon without a license. Do you think the gang-bangers that shot up Arrowhead mall in Muskogee had concealed weapon permits?
Liberals support killing an innocent child (and get mad when a woman changes her mind), but want to protect a mass murderer from getting put down like the animal he is.

Conservative: Be responsible for your own life, don’t depend on Gov’t. Again, no explanation required.
Liberal: Don’t worry about anything, the Gov’t is here to help. Every Gov’t program sucks the life out of who it was supposed to help. For the last 50 years the Gov’t has been trying to help blacks and yet they are no better off now than they were 50 years ago (yet for some reason the black voting block seems to stay with the party of the KKK & Planned Parenthood, but I digress). The most recent example is the perpetual unemployment extension. If you get money for doing nothing, there is no reason to go out and find a way to earn money. But we can go back just a few years earlier, where when the gov’t under the guide of trying to help, got people into houses they could not afford.

Conservative: The private sector can do a better job than the Gov’t. Noticing a trend? The conservative ideals aren’t all wrapped up in legalese or have to be broken down, they are just common sense ideals.
Liberal: The Gov’t knows what is best for you. However the more money the Gov’t spends the less money you have. Less money to give to charities, less money to hire people, less money to make investments, less money to buy stuff, less money to improve your life. There are things the Gov’t should take care of, however. Interstate highways, military on the federal level, police, fire and infrastructure on the local level. Most everything else can be and should be taken care of by private citizens, or at least the local Gov’t.

Conservative: Believe in the constitution & the founding father’s ideals.
Liberals: Believe the constitution is a roadblock, I already mentioned the 2nd Amendment. They love to tout the 1st amendment, unless they cant find an audience on the radio airwaves. They can scream and shout as loud as they want when they see something they don’t like, but when it’s something they don’t agree with, they claim it to be dangerous. They use the tax code to stifle arguments (Churches can’t politic, but Unions can). They scream separation of church and state (as seen with the national day of prayer, or prayers at football games). They aren’t establishing a state run religion. Yet they push the mother earth cult to extremes, via the global warming hoax.

I find it interesting, and quite telling when a non Christian takes the Lords name in vain. It tells me that deep down inside they know that taking a false god's name won't offend said god.

The left is all up in arms with the widest paint brushes they can find to discredit the entire Tea Party movement based on the (unsubstantiated) actions of a few in the crowds. I would like to remind democrats thet Fred Phelps, of "God Hates Fags" Fame is a registered democrat and campaigned for Al Gore. So before you go painting, maybe you need to take a bath first.

Apparently the Pope's preacher (?) compared the thrashing the Catholic church is getting to the "abuse of Jews".

The Jews were abused, harassed, tortured, experimented on and slaughtered just because they were Jews. The Catholic Church however is being "attacked" because a bunch of pedophile priests in the Catholic Church sexually assaulted little boys, and have been for a long time, while the Catholic Church was well aware of it.
