My opinion of Scott McClellan..

is best summed up by Scott McClellan himself:

"Well, why, all of a sudden, if he (Richard Clarke) had all these grave concerns, did he not raise these sooner? This is one-and-a-half years after he left the administration. And now, all of a sudden, he’s raising these grave concerns that he claims he had. And I think you have to look at some of the facts. One, he is bringing this up in the heat of a presidential campaign. He has written a book and he certainly wants to go out there and promote that book."

So Scott, why should we believe you now?

It took 6 ballots, but...

Bob Barr has won the nomination to be the  Libertarian candidate after a tough fight with Mary Ruwart.

Obama's view on gas prices...

Barack Obama said on Saturday Americans would start changing the kinds of cars they drive if gasoline prices continue to climb.

Really? Who would have think it? Thank you Barry for pointing that out

We must stop global warming!

Our irresponsible behavior is now affecting Jupiter!

(either that or Jupitarians need to cut back on their SUV useage)

"Jupiter's recent outbreak of red spots is likely related to large scale climate change as the gas giant planet is getting warmer near the equator."

note, Jupiter isnt the only planet "getting warmer" Mars is as well, but apparently our "climate change" is the only one that isn't caused by the sunspot activity or other natural phenomenon.

A porn star finds God

I dont know who Erica Campbell is, but she apparently was pretty heavy into the porn industry. She has wrote a letter on her site spelling out how she accepted Christ. If you think you sin is so deep that God can't forgive you, you are wrong.

I'm voting for the Pilot

Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Mc Cain were flying to a debate.

Barack looked at Hillary, Chuckled and said, "You know I could throw a $1,000 bill out of the window right now and make somebody very happy."

Hillary shrugged her shoulders and replied, "I could throw ten $100 bills out of the window and make ten people very happy."

John added, "That being the case, I could throw one hundred $10 bills out of the window and make a hundred people very happy."

Hearing their exchange, the pilot rolled his eyes and said to his copilot, "Such big-shots back there.  I could throw all three of them out of the window and make 156 million people very happy."

 I'm voting for the Pilot

Putting an official stamp on UFOs? (Part 2)

A little over a year ago, I pointed out that France had put some legitimacy to the whole UFO phenomenon by releasing its UFO research that contained over 1600 sightings, as well as prominent people in positions of power admitting that they had seen them as well (AZ Gov. Symington & Canadian Def Minister Hellyer). This week, the British Ministry of Defense has released its own version of the “X” Files, and the Vatican says it is ok to believe in aliens.

PC Club Closed? (UPDATE)

UPDATE: PC Club was aquired by NAOC Holdings, so everything should go back to business as usual.

A friend of mine apparently showed up about 20 minutes after the employees were given the news that the PC Club store on 71st street is closing. UPDATE: All PC Clubs are now closed

This will be a big loss for those who are familier with that store, they have always treated me fairly and helped me build one heck of a gaming rig.

I figured with the closing of CompUSA up the street, they would have more than enough business to keep them busy, apprently I was wrong.

I prefer to purchase my good from a store that I can talk with the people face to face, so if anyone has any suggestions for when I build my next rig, please let me know.

Why Im voting NO today

1) As usual, Tulsa (the city) will be paying to improve a suburb by building an Owasso classroom site.

2) TCC has some of the lowest tuition rates, They can raise the money on their own.

3) As Tulsa Chiggers pointed out, if Tulsa increased funding to TCC, that can open the door for OKC to lower state funding to TCC, thus putting them right back where they started.

4) And lastly, I'm against ANY permanent tax. There is no accountability if they fail to perform, we cant "fire" them or cut off funding.

Michael Bates also has his commentary on the Tax.

Bob Barr is in...

Bob Barr announced today that he is running for the president of the United States of America.

So what will it take for Bob Barr to capture my vote?

There are two situations that will allow me to vote for him with a clean conscience:

The first is he will have to run an effective campaign and polls should show that he is a viable candidate. From what I have seen of his platform, he is sufficiently different then the other three people running to actually give people a choice. If Juan McCain keeps sliding to the left, then this will also help him out, as conservatives are not happy with the way the Republican Party is heading.  Republican supporters are already complaining that he going to be another Ross Perot and that Barr didn’t learn anything from that. Maybe the Republican Party should look at that lesson and learn something instead.

The other way he will get my vote is if it looks like the democrat is going to win by a comfortable margin. Might as well make it a landslide at that point, might force the Republican party to reexamine their goals. The Republican Party has drifted so far away from my ideals in the last 10 years that I don’t feel like I owe them anything. For them to get my support, they need to support our beliefs.

CIA: China's military could get 'adversarial'

At least thats what this report is saying...

sad thing is all those trinkets you have been "saving money on" have been funding their build up.

Do conservatives still have a choice?

After reading that Juan McCain is planning on a “Climate Change Tour” (As one reader commented on the story summed up me feelings pretty well said, “How about a national debt tour? How about an illegal immigration tour? How about an energy tour? How about a shut off this stupid ethanol production tour? How about a social security tour? Why don't you tour the real issues our country is so desperately facing now you punk.”) I really have to ask myself why should I vote for McCain?

As I looked through the comments of the story the name of former Georgia Republican Representative, Bob Barr popped up. He is exploring a presidential run for the libertarian party, and for the most part he lines up where the Republican party should be, not where it is heading.

If he decides to make his run, we will have a real choice, and it might send a message to the republican party that we don’t like the direction they are going.

Happy Birthday Israel

Matthew 24:32-34 (King James Version)
32: Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34: Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

In 1948, Israel was once again reestablished as a nation. It is believed that because of the above passage, and the association of Israel being represented by the fig tree, that the rebirth of Israel (32) is the starting point to the end times (33). Most of things in end-time prophecy cannot happen without a viable Jewish state. The generation not passing has been the subject to debate, some put a hard date on it at 40 years since that is how long a generation is considered, but obviously that wasn’t right (1988). Personally, I think the “passing” refers to dying, so in my opinion, anyone born 60 years ago is part of that generation, and things could drag on for another 40+ years, if Israel’s being reborn is the catalyst.
