As most have heard, there were several Obama, Hillary and Edwards plants at the CNN debate last night. In my opinion it revealed a couple of things.

It showed, at worse, CNN's bias and at best a lack of investigation, but with the exception of the demagoguing retired gay general (they gave answers sir, just not the answers YOU wanted to hear), and the obvious plant in the focus group (I'm voting for Edwards?!?) whats the big deal?

They asked hard questions and most answered them. Thats more than can be said about the Democrats considering they wouldn't go on FOX to debate. It's a far cry better than the lack of follow up on Blitzer's questioning of Hillary.

One can guarantee, that the democratic candidates would not subject themselves to republican's (or anybody else for that matter) asking tough questions, no they would run away... Kinda like what they are doing for their last debate, they cant stand the light of truth shown on them, so they are using the strike as a convenient cover to hide from the voting public.

 

Today it was reported that Richard Roberts told reporters that "God" told him to resign, less than a few weeks after "God" told him to deny the allegations... why would "God" have him deny the allegations in the first place, only to have him step down?

I fully believe that the apple does not fall far from the tree as these same antics were used by Oral, but in a more flamboyant way when he said "God" told him he would be "taken home" if the money for the City of Faith wasn't raised. As we all know the City of Faith closed two years later and is now the Cityplex Towers.

I think God is a better "planner" than that.

The US and its craving for cheap Chinese imports and its "gotta have it now" mentality have finally come full circle.

The first half of this circle is  cheap Chinese imports. American companies, in an effort to maximize their profits have turned a large chunk of our manufacturing base over to the Chinese, which in turn finances the Chinese Gov't (they are COMMUNIST after all) we have seen their military grow, and we have seen them side with the likes of Iran. We have funded China's growth.

On the other side of the circle is the mortgage and credit crisis we are now experiencing in America. Instead of purchasing a house they could afford, some turned to ARM loans, and now that is causing mass foreclosures and a serious credit crisis. Which in turn is devaluing our dollar and causing turmoil in the Stock Market.

So what happens when you put both sides of the circle together? China can come in and acquire greater stakes in our financial markets with money they got from us in the first place!

Regarding the  flap over the "poll questions" posed in NH concerning Mitt Romney, I have to ask... did they lie?

According to this story we find out that among the questions the caller asked was whether the person receiving the call knew Romney was a Mormon (true), that he received military deferments when he served as a Mormon missionary in France (true), that his five sons did not serve in the military (true), that Romney's faith did not accept blacks as bishops into the 1970s (true) and that Mormons believe the Book of Mormon is superior to the Bible (true).

they could have also asked if they knew that Mormons believed that Jesus and Satan are brothers...

The headline at Drudgereport.com said
