Burn That Flag!

Im about as conservative as they come, but I think this whole flag brning amendment goes against the very grain that our nation was founded upon. The First Amendment protects freedom of expression, specifically political speech, not porn as some would like you to believe. Its sole purpose it to express dissatisfaction with the gov't without fear of being reprimanded. Men & women died for this right and now we are trying to make an exception to the rule.

There are already laws on the books which will limit flag burners activities, fire codes, trespassing, inciting a riot, & theft. Does the flag they are burning belong to them? are they one someone's property without their permission? That is the proper way to hinder, but not eliminate their expression. as far as Im concerned they can burn thier own flag on their own property but as soon as it goes out on a public street they have to get all the required permits as if I was going to burn a pile of brush in my backyard.
